The Sahara Hotel and Casino opened its doors in 1952
and quickly became one of Las Vegas' most exciting destinations.
Featuring the era's most celebrated performers, including
Ann-Margret, Johnny Carson and Tina Turner. The Sahara
set the standard in Las Vegas' growing entertainment
scene. The Sahara blazed new ground by inviting the
Beatles to Las Vegas for the very first time.
The spacious rooms include comfortable accommodations
and a variety of television-viewing options. Luxurious
suites are available in mini, one, and two bedroom models.
Accommodations for physically challenged guests are
also available.

Sahara Hotel & Casino Room Types:
Standard rooms:
located in our Tunis Tower. Each room is equipped
with central heating and cooling. You can choose between
a king size bed or two double beds, depending on availability.
There are ice machines located on each floor. A limited
number of non-smoking rooms are available for both
Alexandria and Tunis Towers.
Deluxe rooms:
located in the Tangiers Towers and total 1,108 rooms.
Each room is equipped with an individually controlled
heating and cooling system. You can choose between
a king size bed or two double beds, depending on availability.
Also included in the bathroom is a hair dryer. We
also have a large percentage of non-smoking rooms
available. Additionally, there are ice and soda machines
located on each floor.
The Sahara Hotel and Casino does charge a $3.00
per night, per room energy surcharge which is collected
at the time of check in.
